The word needs to be spread about California's anti deficiency law SB 931 for evryone that is looking at short selling a home...According to this new law which was effective 01/01/11, if a lender in a first lien position agrees to accept less that what is owed on a property, they cannot return for a deficiency judgement...WOW!!! This is a huge help for those faced with the decision to short sell. This will help with a lot of the stress and worry that comes with what if questions...
